Katrina Ruttan is a fourth-generation real estate professional, co-founder of the Grainger Ruttan Team, and a born-and-raised Wasaga Beach local serving Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, Midland, Clearview, and Tiny Township.

Before starting her own real estate team, Katrina worked closely with the CEO of RE/MAX Europe in Vienna, Austria, and sold pre-construction condominiums for the Cortel Group in Vaughan. Between those two roles, she saw real estate from angles most agents never do — how an international brokerage operates at the executive level, and how developers actually price, market, and sell new construction. Buying into a new build is the easy part. Understanding how a developer sets prices, when incentives appear, and what's genuinely negotiable — that's where Katrina's background earns its keep, especially in a market like Wasaga Beach where new construction is shaping so much of the inventory.

Her perspective is grounded in something no credential can replicate: four generations of real estate experience in this community, and a lifetime of knowing it as home. Her family has helped shape the local market for decades — her mother has been the Owner and Broker of Record of RE/MAX By The Bay Brokerage for nearly four decades — and that context quietly informs every recommendation she makes.

Off the clock, Katrina is embracing life as a mom to her young daughter Maxine — the next generation of a family that's been part of Southern Georgian Bay real estate for generations. This community is where she grew up, where she's raising her daughter, and where she plans to build the rest of her career.
